Gardasil prevents you from having kids?
I recently heard that if you get the shot gardasil you cannot have children? Not sure if it's true and I've done research but nothing has come up.
It came up in a conversation, don't know how. The girl said that her doctor told her that. I wasn't really sure but it got me worried. Thanks though! I'm asking my doctor next time I get it but I just wanted to see if anybody knew anything about it.

No, it can not prevent you from having kids. They've tested this vaccine out, its safe.
It really worries me that so many people are refusing to get this vaccine, because of rumors. I know vaccinations can hurt, but I know people who have died of cancer.... and that hurts worse.

It's not true. Gardasil prevents you from getting HPV, it has nothing to do with getting pregnant. Where would you even get this idea? Don't believe everything you hear!
Source(s): I got the Gardasil shots and had no such warning from the health professionals or the information packets I was given. - Anonymous1 decade ago
How about asking a healthcare professional like a doctor?
