Why does my i pod play a few tracks and then needs recharging?
I have just played my i pod whilst out walking my dogs (less than an hour) and it is already showing red in the battery bar. Surely i pods should last longer is there something i should have turned off/on? Or something that i need to purchase?

i don't know much about apple products but i do know about lithium batteries 1st question Do you charge your Ipod Even though its batterie is not depleated? lithium batteries like that found in cordless drills build up a memory or film that only allows the batterie to charge to a certain point causing the batterie to be garbage your batterie could be bad or faulty. 2nd have you ever dropped your ipod? the shock could have damaged a part of the internal components used to make the ipod stay on for periods of time . i have a 30 gb 1st gen zune the batterie dosnt last very long so here are a few tips for any mp4 players put powersaver on replay and shuffle waste batterie time to if you listen with your head phones fullblast you waste batterie time set it to around 20 or 25 most mp4s go up to 30 i do hope that some of this info helps you fix your ipod

infrequently. This account is the only one wherein the mail easily works, so dropping it does not be good. After just about 5 years right here, i've got gathered a huge variety of violations, and concern any new one will deliver this account to that's grave. This makes for uninteresting days on R&S, yet i've got little selection different than to play via the regulations. sigh thankfully, i've got not won a VN in some 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. Because the battery is no longer able to recharge itself. These batteries have a life & can only be recharged for a certain length of time - you need to buy a new one.

Make sure that your ipod is fully charged. Leave your ipod charging overnight just to make sure. If it keeps breaking take it back to the shop you bought it from.
