Cars runs on motor and engine while Computers run on electric, do Cars have anything to do with Computers?

I heard that Cars have something to do with Computers, however it is true that Cars run on motor and engine. I do know that Computers runs on electric. In your opinion, does Cars have anything to do with Computers? I myself am just curious. Tell me what you think. Thanks a bunch.

an engine runs on fueL + AIR + Compression + electricity to fire plugs. The cars computer manages the the engine, i.e. it is the boss to maximize fuel efficiency as well as to minimize air pollution. It takes input from various sensors on the engine to determine what it needs to do.

Contemporary cars have on-board computers, which run almost all major car components (breaks, stability, fuel injection, sensors and many more.) Also car computers are used to diagnose problems and adjust performance. These are only SOME of the things car computers do.

As for regular computers and cars, you use your home computer to ask silly questions about this subject...

most modern cars are built with chips and an internal computer that control and monitor such things as gas consumption.
