What time frame should I give my ex to get this things out of my place?
He was forced to leave on 11-18-08 and officially left after Xmas. I asked him when was he going to get his things because I was buying new furniture and he said when he gets time. I guess I should have brought this up months ago but I didnt so I am asking him now. I just want his things gone so that I can close this chapter.

I gave my ex 2 weeks for most of his stuff. I let him keep his car (that wasn't running for a month). But, I was being nice about the car. I don't think you should give more than a month but, I think you should have made a bigger deal about it sooner. I would let him know that you're serious and that he has 2 weeks to get his stuff... If you think he would give you trouble in the future have him sign something or send him a certified letter. I was tough on my ex b/c I knew he would have no sympathy for me if he was in my place.... Good luck and be tough about it or it will be an ongoing problem.
