Well, you need to select an audience, which is usually yourself. What do you like, and what are you good at? Don't include inside jokes, let the audience in on the joke, if there is a joke. Target your audience with what they like. and just keep trying. if you are a girl(s) don't just run around screaming in front of the camera. I tend to change the channel when I see that. I just do. But, most importantly, be ORIGINAL. I know it's hard, but you should try to think of an idea for your audience that is amusing or appealing to them. That's how you hook 'em and get the views. Then once you hit gold with a good idea, milk it. eventually you'll need new ideas, but until then make the most of a good idea.
