    Miami Heat (28-24)

    1. Losing at Los Angeles (Clippers). The Heat should never have put themselves in that position anyway, but Wade saved the ball for the win and just because the referee can't get out of the way (which they are trained to do), they lose to a 2-10 team at the time. Note: Zach Randolph, whatever team he plays for, ALWAYS burns the Heat.

    2. Losing at Cleveland. The Heat had a 10-point lead AT Cleveland heading into the 4th and melted down, snapping their 4-game win streak and preventing them from being the first team to hand the Cavs a home loss.

    3. Losing at Philadelphia. This was a game the Heat needed to win, but they couldn't make plays down the stretch.

    4. Losing at Charlotte. It was only the third game of the season, but it's important to beat these low-tier teams to have leeway against upper-level teams like Boston, Cleveland, Orlando, and Los Angeles (Lakers).

    5. Losing at Memphis. They lose to a team that's more than 15 games under .500 only because Wade had one bad shooting night. It just exposed the Heat's weakness of sometimes being dependent on Wade. The loss was a blowout too (15 pts.)

    #2- Three things.

    a) They had a wild win against Golden State 130-129 on the road that seemed improbable. This showed everyone that the Heat, especially the role players, can play clutch basketball. Note: Jamal Crawford burns the Heat every time as well.

    b) They beat the Lakers, the Magic, and the Cavaliers. Beating these championship caliber teams shows that the Heat have potential. Though all of these wins came at home, it shows that even with a scrappy bench they can win and make AmericanAirlines Arena a tough place to play.

    c) Also, they heavily improved on that dismal 15-67 record last year to a decent 28-24 record by All-Star break.

#3- The Heat must get off to a fast start and play excellent defense throughout the stretch and not lose leads. Hopefully with the addition of Jermaine O'Neal, they can improve defensively. They must also defend the perimeter! It seems every time that teams can easily shoot the ball from the 3-point line against the Heat.

#4- Undoubtedly Dwyane Wade. He has been fantastic in his role as a scorer, defender, and leader. Hopefully, he can stay healthy and put up big numbers as they push for the playoffs.

#5- There are many players that are critical to Miami's success, but with Marion's departure, Udonis Haslem and Michael Beasley must step up at the forward position and increase their point and rebound totals to help Wade at scoring and to balance their frontcourt. Jermaine O'Neal also needs to stay healthy, play defense, and score at least 10.0 points per game.

  • 1- State your team and Record- Lakers (42-10)

#2- What is a positive thing they did the first Half- Played defense very well in the first 7 games.

#3. What can they Improve on for the Second Half- Play defense the rest of the way

#4- Which Player has been the Most important and most consistent- Kobe and Pau.

#5- Which Player is critical for your Team Success in the Second Half- Lamar Odom , Bynum is gonna be out. Odom needs to step up as he did the past couple weeks.

The tough loss part the most heartbreaking one was the Troy Murphy tip in, I mean, yeah the Bobcats loss was bad, but you could already tell Lakers were gonna lose since Kobe had fouled out, but here, we are up one.. first guy misses the shot!! We win, and then BAM! a tip in. That just hurts.

    1) Lakers 42 - 10 Best in the league =]

2)Offense was great, unstoppable way too many weapons

3)Definitely on the defensive side, they play well when they want but they're not consistent

4)Pau Gasol has been the most consistent, but then again Kobe will always be the most important part of the team

5)Lamar Odom needs to keep up the production and intensity, Andrew Bynum needs to come back and stay healthy, they ALL need to play defense

    1. at Spurs, Fisher fouls Mason

    2. at Pacers, last second tip in

    3. at Heat, Kobe misses shot at buzzard

    4. Vs. Bobcats, Kobe fouls out we lose in overtime

    5. at Orlando, we lose by 3 points

T5. at Utah, Okur makes 3 point shot with 42 seconds to take the lead

    1) Knicks 21-31

    2) Ummmm.... ummmm... They were 1-0

    3) Everything

    4) Either Nate or Lee

    5) Harrington learning when not to shoot and stop killing us

As for the 5 hardest defeats, well, there are too many to pick from, so I'll just pick recent ones that stand out.

    1) Losing to the Clipppers. I mean we had a 3 point lead but Harrington had to get a stupid T for hanging on the rim, we let them tie, and lost in OT when Harrington tries to play the role of Kobe but cant make a shot.

    2) Losing to Portland a few days earlier. Again, had it going down the stretch, can't make a shot, then you just let Roy drive down the middle for a buzzer beating layup when you had a foul to give and could have forced them to take a contested jumper.

    3) Cavs. LeBron's 50 point triple double (at the time, until stats were corrected). Was a 2 point game in the last minute, and it would have been a huge game to pull off.

    4) Lakers. You never want to get torched for 61 and make news for having a porous D. I mean, when teams look forward to playing you for their own highlight reels... yeah.

    5) Golden State. We made Stephen Jackson look like LeBron and got blown out by a team that will be lucky to win 25.

  • 1. Lakers 42-10

    2. After losing Bynum, they were able to defeat the top two teams in the East. And Odom really stepped up.

3.Defense and Consistency. I hate when they lose close games!!

4.Kobe, Odom, and Gasol. It's a team effort and we need these guys to play at 100% every game.

5.Kobe: I still think he holds the power to motivate the Lakers.

    :D

  • Toughest lost, Bobcats double OT lost.

    #1- Lakers, 42-10 best record.

#2- 6-0 road trip, beating the celts and cavs back 2 back, and get best record.

#3. -playing hard againts weak teams.

#4- .Pau Gasol, his consistency inside is important.

#5- Lamar Odom, if he produce good numbers the Lakers are tough to beat.
