--- kariktan is the short form of Karikitan

    pinahimpil - pinatigil/pinahinto

pitagan- galang (?) I haven't encountered a plain 'pitagan' before. It has always been 'pinagpipitaganan which I think means 'iginagalang' so I'm not really sure.

kinalag -kinalas/ tinanggal sa pagkakabuhol o pagkakatali

    nagdaralita- naghihirap

    pangimbulo- inggit/pagkainggit

    kariktan- kagandahan
