Where are the Bay Area Hip-Hop night clubs and other places of entertainment for 18+ over?
Hello im 20 and I'm moving to the bay area from Stockton in the late spring and I'm looking for places to hang out and party in the Frisco, Oakland, Richmond, and San Jose areas. as far as music i prefer hip-hop and R&B but I'm open to clubs that also play top 40 and alternative too.
I've browsed through questions simular to mine and so far the clubs i've come up with are City Nights, Club NV, Loft 11 and Club X
websites that were offered were baynightlife.com, sfclubs.com, and sfstation.com... are there any more?
I'm also in to spoken word and preforming arts so any info on those types of venues are great as well.
Food: I'm getting into sushi and Japanese cuisine so where are the best places to go for that? and Mexican?
and if you know of any other places that are entertaining please let me know
I'm a very diverse person, love trying new things, and very open minded
So all suggestions are greatly appreciated
Thanx!

-i don't knw any clubs but theres always house/college parties, but then again if your new to the bay it would take u a while to settle in. i guess you could go to the ones u mentioned but by looking at the reviews from google they seem boring except for Loft 11.
-for performing arts etc. theres a ton of museums, like the academy of sciences, but if you do end up going to the museums buy the tickets on line and be there early because you will probably get screwed at the entrance or you could walk around the pier/embarcadero, just watch out for THE BUSH MAN! (a homeless guy that scares tourists by hiding behind a bush) oh yeah theres a few hippies and homeless people around the city.
-i have tried so many restaurants and so far the only place i like is Hard Rock Cafe
-around October theres a festival/rave/party on the streets of San Fran called Lovefest--->http://www.sflovefest.org/

That is pretty much all of them, if i recall correctly. The 18 and up scene is kinda non-exisitent in the bay. It use to be wild... "black Fridays, Black Saturadys, Festival at the lake on Sundays, and clubs in San Jose"... but violence stops all these events.
U may wanna try to check San Jose out.. I'm sure they have some spots for 18 and up still
