crunches how long before ...?
im not fat, i dont have a set weight goal because to me its not the weight its the look i want to achieve. i have had 3 babys within 3 1/2 years, my last baby was a c-section baby, i have this belly softness i dont like, its not fat, bloated a little maybe idk, i was told to do 40 front crunches a day and 10 side ones each. i decided to do 10 butt lifts and 10 squats also, i hate exercise but if you dont like something about yourself you should do something about it right? so my question is how long will that take before it starts to look more tone??? i already eat healthy and drink the correct amount of water.
its not really a layer of fat...iv been doing them for only 3 days and first day i felt nothing but the last 2 days have burned a little when i bend over to pick my kids up, there;s a constant "tightening" feeling.
im not over weight at all im 5'3 and im 125 lbs...like i said its not the weight,
oh my squats are not to tone...its because im weak ...and i will add more when i can get through those easy
LOL i guess i better explain, i dont want washboard abs, i just want a soft toned belly, with a smooth finish lol...right now its a soft finish LOL...

if you have a layer of fat over your abs you will not see any benefits unfortunately. You could have really strong abs but with the fat you wont see any of the benefits, so fat burning exercises need to be done also. Do abs 4-5 times a week, look on youtube for some great core workouts. But even after a couple of weeks you can start to feel your core is becoming stronger
edit; lol you wont get washboard abs like on the video but that gives you an idea of what you need to do to develop the muscles in the core but they need to be done effectively to actually make any difference
edit;make sure you eat plenty of protein to help build your muscles back up, as you get stronger just increase the intensity each week. Write down a plan as you are more likely to stick to it then you can add on as the exercises become easier

many people believe that to get your abs tone one needs to do lots of crunches or sit-ups. However, cardio is the answer to your problem. all it takes is 30 minutes of cardio a day (running, aerobics, lipticol machine, bike etc.) i have recently found that crossfit is a great way to get tone. Crossfit is intnse and it cancetrates your core mussles, which will improve your overall fitness. If you a can combine both cardio and weight trainning along with good eating habits you will see great resaults, as long as you can stick with it all. if you are interested in checking crossfit, google different sites to see how it works.

i would suggest doing more
unless there is some serious reason
when i was overweight i started doing 100 crunches a night so id bring that number up to at least 75
as for squats 10 wont do much so id increase that to three sets of 12
just my opinion though
unless your muscles are burning and tired afterwards your not going to see much results quickly

If you do the same thing everyday you will not get tone fast you have to do different toning exercises every day. running helps. and when you are walking around the house tighten your abs like someone is about to hit your stomach, that helps alot, do jacknifes good luck :)

crunches are not the whole answer you should do more cardio like running or swimming that will rip up those abs
