He's the greatest NASCAR driver of all-time. And I celebrate his legacy and honor "The Intimidator" every Feb. 18th by watching the 1998 Daytona 500. Perhaps the most memorable moment in NASCAR history. Still get chills when I see every crew lining up pit road to give the man the respect he both commanded and deserved. RIP Dale.

Watch the movie "Dale" today and wore a three hat. Also had a moment of silence for the man and offered up a prayer for him and his family.

This makes me think of of an analogy that Larry McReynolds gave as quickly as whilst he replaced into conversing approximately Earnhardt and NASCAR, he stated some thing like 'say you have this domestic dog, and you permit the domestic dog crap interior the homestead each and all the time, and then 2 years later, you attempt to punish it for crapping interior the homestead, the canines won't understand what it did incorrect...' i presumed this replaced into humorous because of the fact it confirmed that NASCAR did no longer understand the thank you to guard him back whilst he replaced into in his top, and that they advantageous as heck does not understand the thank you to guard him now. As pronounced in the previous, they cracked down a lot on tough using after he died. remember Sundays race? Jimmy closed in on Kenseth on the top, and that they battled area via area for the lead for countless laps. What do you think of could have occurred if Dale Sr replaced into in Jimmy's spot? could we've seen an ingredient via area conflict? Heck no, we would have seen Kenseth spin out. i could fairly see an ingredient via area conflict.
