How many people on here use Second Life and what do you think of it?

I have used Second Life a few years, mostly now it's just for business. It can be hard to figure out the controls at first unless you meet someone to help you out and explain things to you without making you feel dumb.

There are a lot of things that are fun at first but most of it gets old/boring after awhile.

It's been around so long, that most of the users are rude to new people rather than helpful. Have to understand, a lot of older users have been continously burned by people they are nice to. So a lot just aren't anymore. Most will still help with gameplay questions but if you are new needing money you are better off to find a money tree, if you need avatar items look around for freebies...most designers have a line of freebies to help the new player get started and if you hit a few money trees and have 20L or so you can buy several things at 1L a pop to get you started.

I heard a documentary about it months ago but i've never used it. I think it sounds like a terrible waste of time.

I'm on it now, I think its OK I'm on the Teen Grid as I'm 17 by the way my SL is Helen Arabello.........
