I can only guess, but it either got dropped and is now broken, or you are using the wrong drivers for it.
Try unplugging it, then remove the drivers, reboot, then reinstall the drivers, then reboot, then plug the camera back in ....see if that fixes it. Never plug in the camera before installing the drivers. If you don't have the drivers you can find them in the support area of the camera's manufacturers website.
