Do you think this if FAIR?

Do you think it is fair that the switch to DTV was pushed back to June 12,2009 yet stations are already switching over leaving people in the dark???

Update:

People didn't have the correct amount of time!

The program itself is running out of money and places like Walmart can't keep the $5.00 converter boxes in stock..

I don't think it is FAIR to Older people who can't afford a NEW HDTV or the Converter or monthly cable..

Update 2:

I see some people can't think for themselves and have to copy answers

Yes. The switch was announced years ago. Stations spent a fortune getting ready and were ready when the time came. Trying to maintain two signals would cost them millions of dollars but not increase their revenue. The unfairness is that Congress pushed the date back. People had plenty of time to prepare, plus this only affects a small percentage of people at all.

Yes, corporations have been planning on this switch for years. They should not be penalized because the government planned poorly.

I think it might help for the people who don't have one yet.
