Give me your thoughts of Conan O'Brien becoming host of the Tonight Show?

Give me your thoughts of Conan O'Brien becoming host of the Tonight Show? As long as he doesn't have to tone himself down I'm all for it, especially after I heard Max Weinberg and the Max Weinberg Seven would be coming with him. I don't know about Jimmy Fallon taking over for Conan though. I would have loved to have seen Nathan Lane take over but that would never happen.

I predicted the same as above. But when I heard Jay Leno is staying on, I then thought maybe NBC will let him retain his crazy humor and bring it onto the tonight show.

My definition of this whole thing is basically NBC not having the money to take further risks in failure for new prime time shows. Thus they decided to the last prime hour every night with Jay to save costs and then just bump up Conan to an earlier hour. This way, both Jay and Conan audiences can sleep an hour earlier. Probably especially for rising Conan audiences who won't have to stay up until 1am. Then when Fallon and Daly comes on, people can switch off the TV and sleep.

NO,NO,NO THIS IS A HUGE MISTAKE!

He's going to have to tone it down, because some the things he did on late night he can't do it on the tonight show. plus it wouldn't be the same, because basically Conan is New York.

It's a huge mistake. He WILL have to tone it down and because of that his true lack of humor will show. NBC is finished.
