Why do some E mails i send to a friend in USA end up in his junk folder ?
Every so often i send an E from UK to friend in USA and it ends up in his junk folder. What is causing this ? Is it his or my computer causing this ? No E mails he sends to me EVER end up in my junk folder. Baffling.

It's his problem. It's very unlikely that you're doing something to cause this. He probably just doesn't have his email client configured very well. He probably has the option of manually typing in an email address and classifying every message from this address as `Not Spam`. He should use this feature and none of your messages will ever go to his spam folder (even if you did, in fact, start to spam him for some reason - not that I think you would ever do that).
If he's not actually using an email client, relying on some web interface that his email provider has, then he probably still has at least some degree of control over the behaviour of his filters.
In any case, just don't send him messages that have an attachment but don't include any text at all. That's an instant trigger for most filters. Avoid that, and any other problems are probably on his end.

He hasn't made a folder for your e-mails and hasn't made you a Contact - therefore you are a "stranger" and so you end up in junk

Not baffling at all - if you are not in his address book, it is more than possible that it will arrive in his spam folder. Depends on the level of spam filter he has also.

This concern is with the recipient no longer your spouse. The recipient in all probability needs to regulate their filters - they might have your spouse's area flagged as "junk mail" or they might spotlight your spouse's digital mail and click "no longer junk mail" or "no longer Junk".

it just his email settings recognising your email as junk , there could be lots of reasons why this happens such as the amount of emails sent or if he's one of several people included on the email - all he needs to do is drag your mail out of the junk mail - right click on it and set to trusted -

Doesn't have to do with your friend being in the US. It's probably just her/his email account. Have your friend check the settings and allow for your email address to accept your emails.

It is probably because your server is on a list of his provider, although it could be lots of things. Have him add you to his list and it should never happen again.
