Create a Full Recovery Image?
Hey guys, I want to create a recovery disc for my PC:
I want everything to be saved exactly the way it is - so if my computer goes to crap, I can restore it to exactly what its at now.
and I mean exactly: I don't care if I loose all the date I've collected since today, I just want it to revert to the same exact thing.
I might have missed something, but I have tried Norton Ghost, as well as the basic windows system recovery program, but they are not what I'm looking for.
Any help is much appreciated! thanks!

The current version of Ghost should do the job. I use True Image, which is pretty much the same. It will create an image of the drive on an external drive or discs and it will also create a boot disc. So if the hard drive goes belly up, I boot from the disc, which starts TI, and then restore the image.
And in between the image can be mounted as a different drive so individual files can be rescued. Very good stuff.
