Where can I get a computer card/program which graphs active radio signals over a given range of frequencies?
I am looking for a device that fits into a slot in a home computer.
Attach an antenna to the card and turn it on, a range of frequencies would appear on a graph on the computer screen.
A spike would appear for each frequency which it receives a broadcast. The stronger the transmission higher the spike on the graph.
What is this device called and where can I get it?
Since this technology is over ten years old, I would like to get a used one.
I am interested in shortwave, AM, and FM frequencies. Any other frequencies (longwave, police scanner, TV, and others would be a plus.
