Winter formal! Pale pink, short ballerina-esque dress with light gold design on it... Makeup suggestions?

I can't figure out what to do with my makeup. Our Winter Formal is this Saturday and I want to keep my makeup simple. I was thinking of doing pink eyeshadow? What kind of mascara do you suggest? What kind of eyeshadow? Also, what kind of eyeliner? I'm wearing mineral loose powder.

I am Filipino and have tan skin. I am skinny.

You should do a light pink eye shadow along with black mascara and black eyeliner. Along with a pink lipstick and a glossy lipgloss over that. Don't over do it though. You want to achieve a nature light blush look. Most of all have fun.

MAC cosmetics makes an eyeshadow called "Expensive Pink". It is a soft pink eyeshadow with a gold duochrome, and it's absolutely beautiful on all skin types. Pair that with a deep plum or cranberry color in the crease, a shimmery white to highlight, and some black smudged into the lashline and it will be a very dramatic, sophisticated look. Apply some black eyeliner (I use Revlon ColorStay) to your waterline and lashline, then apply some black eyeshadow over it with an angled eyeshadow brush for an ultra-smoky look.

I would go for a simple line of metallic gold eyeliner...then shade to the crease of the eye with a shimmery pink mixed with silver dust. Wear black mascara and curl your lashes..before the mascara is dry dip the very ends of your lashes in silver or gold dust. Use a white eyeliner on the inner rims and put silver dust in the inner corners of your eye..(trust me it looks gorgeous). Highlight the cupids bow of your lips with this dust..very lightly..then add a neutral skin toned lip lacquer. Cheeks..go with the ballet look..define the line and add highlights to upper cheek bone with shimmery pink powder.

Practice before the big night and take pics to see how you look.
