Why is it that Democrats are so over protective about their elected officials?

Even when they act like naughty little kids, democrats defend their candidates, well past the point of denial, and become so offended and injured when their heroes are challenged.

Billy-boy was anything but forthright, and perjured himself while commander and chief, and the demos just swooned. But let someone run for office that they don't like from any other party, and they're on them like hair on a gorilla. Is that your idea of a "fairness doctrine" democrats? Or is all of that "were the enlightened ones" bullcrap blinding you?

Update:

US Vet..you proved my point, perfectly.

When it comes to old Billy-boy, who looked us all in the eye and lied, lied, lied, under oath.So if your looking for respect for your boy, you'll have to look elsewhere. Try schooling the mulitiude on YA right now on how to refer to our ex- presidents. Mine was not a grammatical error. I stand by what I said.

A respectful American would never refer to an ex-president as "Billy Boy" The man's title is "Ex-President Bill Clinton"

By the way, it wasn't the Democrats who defended dick cheney when he shot his friend in the face while drunk and while using an expired hunting license.

It wasn't the Democrats who defgended the criminal, in george w. bush's white house that committed the felony of exposing a CIA opperatives cover.

Gee- will Republicans ever see justice in America?

The same reason Republicans were over protective of their elected officials.

Bush could have taken a 2x4 to someone's grandmother and people would have still justified it.

You can't demonize one party for using the same tactics as the other. That is called hypocrisy.

Republicans do the same thing! People on here are STILL defending Bush even though he was a complete and utter failure!

  • For the same reasons that the Republicans are so protective of theirs.

They can't admit they were wrong. They can't admit their Messiah is just another Chicago style politician with no experience. They can't admit they elected a person that has never run anything in his life. They can't admit that their choice will scr** the country.
