risk of hair loss with METHOTREXATE?
Hi everybody. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and I have to take one table of 2.5 mgs of methotrexate saturdays and sundays in the morning and in the evening. I read that one side effect of nethotrexate is hair loss. I want to know if somebody knows in how much time I'm going to loss hair with that dossis, please.

First of, you dont really need to get a side effect. But if it is a side effect that you will get for sure i suggest you call your doctor or check out a doctors page where you can read about it.

Abrupt diffuse hair loss would be observed after 2 months or greater from the time the drugs replaced into all started. as quickly as the drugs is discontinued, the laying off will progressively be sure over 6-9 months.
