Is there any other Californian furious at the ridiculous tax increase?

In the midst of the highest unemployment rate, foreclosures, well lets face it... a depression, we just got soaked with huge tax increases for the right to breathe in this over-bloated state. Here is a calculator to see how it will affect you!

http://www.sacbee.com/1098/story/1627728.html

I am so mad I am ready to blow, any one else care to comment on this mess?

Update:

~~Not only are the taxes increased, but so is car registration-will cost 75 percent more now, college tuition increased, corporate tax, increased, unless your are a huge corporation, then it's decreased, and all sorts of ugly little extra costs! I wish the Fed would intervene. Protests groups are beginning to form in Orange County. Anyone interested, email and I will keep you posted on them!

From what I can see, each state has its own system of control & tax, but the Central or Federal must impose a regulated limitation to keep the balance or comparison among them.

At this moment, it is a very wrong move to increase tax no matter how small. The deficit in the State should be covered with relief from the Federal Control. Arnold's State is already in problem of cash flow to meet the needs needed to run the show.......he is a showman.

He needs to solve the problems & the shotages but must do it in the best way not by tax at this moment.......asking for troubles.

Thats one of the few things I like abour Florida.

    Sales tax 6%

    NO income tax

Do not elect people who are obviously not capable of running a state. Actors do not make good leaders (i.e. Arnold and Reagan)

    Neither do clowns (i.e. Bush)

I am so sorry about that. It hasn't happened in NY yet, but im sure it's soon to come. That stinks. I just hope this economic situation gets better before it gets worse.
