Are very large tissue clumps of blood normal when you get your period?
I am asking a bunch of questions, but it's my first period so I'm a beginner! Anyway, I took off my pad and there was this HUGE piece of bloody tissue or something that was dark and gross and I couldn't believe it came out of me! Because since I started on Tuesday I've only seen blood. Could someone please just tell me the basics of what to expect the first few periods? I don't want to be unpleasantly surprised again...

Ya this is normal :). Just change when ever you feel uncomfortable which is usually 3 -4 hours. Wear a big one at night as not to leak. And then go down in absorbancy as your period comes to an end. My periods usually last 5 days but when I first started it lasted like 8 days...so it'll change. Also for the first year, they say you are irregular, I was always at the end of the month, but it's not un normal to get it randomly for a while. You might have some cramping, take tylenol and advil for that, if that's not working, call your doctor for something a little stronger or for advice on a different medication. But these pain relievers should work. Possibly some tylenol pm at night to help you sleep if they are keeping you up or have been pretty bad during the day. THat should be about it. Keep panty liners and pads in your purse at all times because you don't know when you'll start. Congrats!!

Yes that is very normal! Its just the lining coming out. Sometimes your period and be completely blood and no clumps and other times it can be very heavy with clumps. When i experience this I usually get very bad crmps along with it. No need to worry.

sure, it is common. i've got heard them observed as clots, extremely than clumps, and the vast ones do look wierd, even if it is effective. it is all from the liner being sloughed off interior so it is not coming from an open vein or something--it is basically popping out particularly diverse. basically approximately jelly like. I many times have been given extra cramping while that occurred, even if it is not something to fret approximately. in case you sense drained, ensure you consume pork (pork) slightly extra in many instances to help your physique replace the iron mandatory.

those who get clusters of bloodtissues may be having a fibroid within the uterus that is what i hav known from my friends' experiences..
bt since you r saying that its ur first one, so i wud lyk u wait for ur 2nd and c if u r still getting clumps if yes then rush to a gynac immediately and if no then hav a happy period!!

when you have your period the fricken wall of your uterus is coming off!
of course it's normal! haha. calm down, learn to use tampons, and its not because of your first period, it will prbly always be that way.
