It won't be done automatically, and for PAYE, it is highly unlikely any refund would be paid into your bank account. HMRC have no facility to make electronic repayments. If you want repayment, you should make formal claim to tax office, and you can ask for cheque to be sent direct to your bank. You should give sort code, account number, and name and address of bank. Send HMRC documentary evidence of tax deduction (forms P45/P60), and tell them your complete employment history for the period in question. The tax year goes from 6th April to 5th April. To do this you can download form P91 from http://www.hmrc.gov.uk,/ then go into forms.
You don't need the complication of a Tax Return for this, unless you have been self-employed within the period.

Council Tax is levied on the owner/tenant of a property and applies to not purely council residences. Your mom has to pay Council Tax because of the fact she resides in a house and is subsequently the owner/tenant. It has not something to do with what proportion stay there, different than that she might desire to declare a 25% inexpensive if she became into residing on my own. If she is attempting to bypass the a number of cost onto you, it incredibly is a controversy between you and her. in case you do not paintings, at the instant are not on income and subsequently have no money, why does she anticipate you to make contributions? Is she additionally imparting you with an allowance?

Have you actually contacted HMRC to point out that you are due this refund? If not, you need to ring them and tell them you think a refund is due and what info do they need to sort it out.
Otherwise, I need more info about your situation to be of more help.
EDIT: On no account file a tax return - you will never get out of the SA system.
