does anyone have a recipe for german chocolate cake?

my son is a vegan and loves german sweet chocolate cake for his birthday. some of the recipes i found do not include german sweet chocolate.

i could really use a good recipe.

    I just take a store-bought German Chocolate cake mix and frosting. They're usually available without dairy, if that's an issue.

    i dont have a recipe but a note on a misconception.
