Don't buy a new car. This will save you money in the long run. If you don't have at least 80% of the money now then don't get it.

    1) Get financial security at your job...make sure you're helpful, nice, and easy to work with, and if you have few conflicts pick up other shifts if needed

    2) Look at your expenses and take out a fixed ammount every month or every week...save a certain ammount from you pay check. Into a savings account. Then when you have a good chunk and can get a good loan rate (not now) then look for a newer car w/ a loan you could afford.

    3) Go to college to assure you getting better chances at a higher paying job. By getting an education you're adding skills to your resume and will be more in demand...and giving you more money to save.

Buying a new car right from High School is probably one of the biggest ways to get yourself into debt (or at least decrease funds for future use). Buy a car that will run and get you from point A to point B. Then after saving and BUDGETING your expenses..no impusle buys lol...then you can think about buying a new car around that price.

I'm not saying you can't I'm just saying you may regret it later b/c unless your expenses are very low and income very high you could be paying off your car a long time...w/out high income it wouldn't be easy to save that ammount quickly.

    Good luck!!

unless you can save $20,000 its almost impossible to buy a new new car without taking out a car loan. unless you have the cash

kk, work hard, have a garage sale, maybe buy lotto who knows, and keep at it,im 13 and i needed 200 bucks once (i know it aint much 2 you but its heaps to me) for somethin i wanted to buy. Took me almost a year of just hardcore saving, buying nothing else and working my guts out, but when i got it in the end it was well worth it. Keep at it.
