Poll. If you could legalize one in USA, Marijuana or Same Sex Marriage, which would you pick?

If we had a democracy and a national vote for one or the other, would you choose the decimalization of marijuana or same sex marriage?

There is no need to explain the rationale behind your decision.

Update:

Wait! Right now a man (gay or not) can marry whatever woman (gay or not) that will have him. That is MY right. That is THEIR Right. Our rights are the same. That means our rights are EQUAL. Now, if you are saying that they should have extra rights, that is something else altogether

Update 2:

I see. That's exactly like saying "Opium should be legal just to (for sake of argument) Afganis because they "prefer" it to alcohol, and since Alcohol is legal for everyone, Opium should be legal too (but only for [fill you your specific non-inclusive group]) otherwise you are showing you hate them.

    Marijuana.

    Also, marriage shouldn't even be an issue, for the same reason all the bible thumpers keep spouting: it's a religious institution. The law shouldn't recognise it between "one man and one woman" either. Everyone should have the whole "civil union" thing because religious issues should not be legal issues.

    I would say same sex marriage because it is not hurting anyone and gays should have the same rights as everyone else. Marriage is a sacred institution that should be enjoyed by everyone regardless of sexual orientation. Also, we have so much hate, fear, suffering, and turmoil in this world that it is so horrifying that some people would want to deny marriage to two people who love each other and been together for so many years. I don't care if it is ruining the sancity of marriage between a man and a woman because what I think is more immoral is denying gays to marry in the first place.

    There are lots of jobs you cannot hold if you use it, but it seems to cause far less aggression than alcohol. Sobriety tests for drivers will of course have to become more sophisticated, and a new tax revenue stream is certainly attractive as well as legitimizing what is already a booming business.

    Of course it would be nice if there were an export market...

    Marijuana.

    There's no such thing as SS marriage b/c marriage is one man & one woman becoming one flesh. 2 ppl of the same gender cannot become 1 flesh.

    Definitely marijuana, for the reason that I believe it is less dangerous than alcohol and it would clear up spaces in jail for the people that actually need to be in jail.

    Marijuana use. Same-sex relations are already legal, but I don't think the Constitution requires the states to approve of these relationships.
