Since Mardi Gras tends to be regional, there might not be a place in that area. You may have to get it air-shipped to your region. Tuesday 2/24 is the last day of the celebration of Mardi Gras and most bakeries will shut down production. You would have to order today or tomorrow.

king cakes are really nothing to brag about. you probably can make one will just some canned cinnamon roll dough.

I usually buy my King Cakes at Rouse's; they ship continental at www.rouses.com They're pretty good, and I dont know of any N.O. bakeries that ships their king cakes.
