I need to either dual boot or run Windows Server in a VM?

I am training for a MCDBA cert in SQL SERVER. I need to run Windows Server on my XP SP3 machine. Which option is better, and please specify the steps I'd need to take to implement it.

I would just run it inside a virtual machine, that way you don't have to worry about refromating your computer later on. Just download the virutal machine from microsoft, after you download it there is a wizard that will take you through the steps of creating a virtual disk. Once your done creating a virtual disk put in your server 2003 disk and your virtual machine will take off starting to install server 2003
