What is the weather like in New York in the months of may/ june?

The weather is nice. Sometimes in June it can get a little bit hot. I would suggest coming at the end of May. The days are really long, and it's sunny and fun!

Hey as a New Yorker Ive been several times, it can be awfuly humid in June,but overall nice. Weather is usually in the 70s, and in the 60s at night. A light sweater for the evenings would be good, and just a t shirt in the day time. You really dont need to pack that much becase NYC has everything you need, but it often can be way(!) overpriced. Have Fun! PS. New York really has its ups and downs, some neighborhoods are very upscale, nice shops, etc. but others, frankly, you really,really dont want to go down, if you know what I mean

I would recommend March or April, or sometime in the fall as the best time to visit. The weather is not too hot or too cold, and there are less tourists, from what i noticed.

You are going at the best time, though May is better because it will be anywhere from 62-78 F in the day. June can, but rarely, will creep up to 90 F.

Don't go in August, I hate living here then, it smells like rotting garbage everywhere, and the subway is unbearably hot.

Gorgeous. Those are the best months of weather we get. Late June might be a bit hot, and early May might be rainy...otherwise, it is a great time and you can pack light.

Nice, cool and spring-like. Springtime is the best time of year to go to New York City, because it is not too not, nor cold.
