How can we encourage more students to join our school's Gay-Straight Alliance?

Put up posters with messages that have a catchy picture. Something that will make you stop and look twice before continuing down the hall. For some ideas, check the interent and google some ads and posters. Make it aware that they're are other issues that go along with being gay...like human rights for instance. Let people know that they can help make a difference by joining together.

Even though I'm gay I never joined the alliance at my school.

Perhaps I wasn't nearly as... accepting as I am now - but at the same time, its a target.

On a humorous note - you could always offer free food or something like that

Put up a sign - even if you're straight, you don't have to be narrow!

Join the alliance etc...

And have food. Kids like food.

my school's GSA is plotting something like that. we're going to make a bunch of small posters and put them all over the place, just saying, ya know "join GSA" "tolerance is good". not exactly like that but you get the idea. we have to have permission to put up signs, and we dont expect to get it, but we're doing it anyway

At my college, the GSA has conferences, places up flyers advocating for gay rights, and organizes days like the day of silence (it is not referred to as that, yet i can't remember what it relatively is termed :P) and bake sales and stuff, all advocating for gay rights. it relatively is a tremendously cool, you need to connect in case you prefer to ! :)

you may put on the flyer safe sex! or something like to be cool join the Gay-Straight Alliance.

Give out free cupcakes.

just put up a sighn that says "r u as straight as u think u r"thats wat we did & the next meet we had tons mor ppl
