    Sarah is NOT

    Obama IS

The chimp cartoon was relevant to CURRENT EVENTS.

Lipstick on a pig was just downright MEAN.

(Michelle Obama calls America a downright mean country...guess she meant her husband.)

It was poor judgment for the cartoonist to associate the chimp with Obama because idiots like Al Sharpton will pull the race card once again and "rattle the cage". The rest of us will understand it was meant that the stimulus bill was written as if by a deranged monkey. I'm glad the cartoonist is at least defending his cartoon and not backing down because of a bunch of idiots wrong interpretation.

  • Well, because Palin had done nothing to earn the ire of the left. She hadn't affected them in any way at all while Pelosi had just passed a bill that would result in almost a trillion dollars in new debt, required us to borrow more from China, send the dollar to new lows and took more of our freedoms from us. Now, if you aren't outraged by her actions, you are obviously too ignorant to vote. So, for my part, comparing her to an ape was 'kind'.

Or didn't you understand the cartoon? I bet you thought the chimp represented Obama, didn't you. I bet you thought presidents write legislation. Yep, bet ya did. It never ceases to amaze me that the left in this country believes themselves to hold the corner on education and intelligence and never see the contradiction to that believe in nearly every word they utter.

"Why are cons who got outraged re: "lipstick on a pig" so dismissive of people outraged re: the chimp cartoon?"

Lipstick on a pig was aimed directly at Palin. The Chimp cartoon was not directed at Obama.

Because the CHIMP is Nazi Pelosie. Nazi wrote the bill not you precious Prince. REad much.

And the shooting of the chimp was current events so the cartoonist used the issue to make a comparison to congress.

What about when Bush was protrayed as a chimp? What about when Reagan was protrayed as a chimp? The double standard is amazing. No outcry the! and the dam* cartoon wasn't even about him.

I'm just dismissive of completely stupid people in general. If you read that cartoon and saw Obama in there somewhere, I have to put you into that category.

it amazes me that in this day and age so many racists exist..makes me ashamed to be a citizen of this once great country...and people want to know why we are the most hated country in the world. It's because of backwards thinkers like rob who question why the SMART people voted for obama to clean up the mess that the fascist nazi big-brother-esque bush administration caused in the first place...history dictates for itself...republicans put us into debt...democrats pull us out. And the neo-nazi cons dismissed it because they are hippocritical nazi's
