Do you want to end world poverty...?
Think about how much the average American wastes about the same amount of food that could feed a starving Ethiopian child. The unequal distribution of resources is unjust. What gives you, by LUCK to live in developed country, any more right to have the means to survive comfortably than someone in a less fortunate situation...?
Tons of resources are WASTED. Do you ever throw away excess food? We could potentially feed the world, but instead there is a huge amount of resources concentrated in certain geographic areas whereas other places have barely anything.
What happens when we leave a bunch of people in a profit-motivated economy? Exploitation happens. It's so much more profitable to use labour in impoverished nations than it is in America. Capitalism doesn't care about ethics, only greed. Capitalism rewards people who have no regard to ethical standards. Do you feel OK knowing that some people, through immoral methods, have significantly more than enough to live comfortably than another person who has nothing...? You dont need your 3000 SUVs and whatever else crap you have.
The next step in human progression is only logical.

No, I do not want to end world poverty.
I don't mind helping nations who are oppressed becoming free of that oppression.
I don't mind helping nations regaining economical control of their future.
But I do not believe that "we are the world" is a sound idea.
I do what I can to help in my community.
I do what I can to be less intrusive on the ecology.
Other nations are impoverished by two things
1. Greed which keeps the poor poor and the wealthy wealthy
2. Natural events like flooding, changes in climate, ect...
We have sent food to impoverished nations and watched it get stolen.
We have sent aid - medical, ect. - and watched it get stolen.
So you tell me, "How does changing our eating habits help the starving if the food that is sent is stolen?"
So tell me who will protect it so that it gets to those who need it?
So tell me who will pay for protecting it from being stolen?

Yes we want to end world poverty, This is especially true when you consider that there is enough food for everyone on the planet to get at least 2,700 calories per day. Again, much of the food that is produced on this planet only ends up going to waste which is a supreme injustice for those most in need.

even in case your definition of poverty is one countries wealth while in comparison with a distinctive.. so we could say hypothetically americas well-known of residing appropriate now became the well-known residing for the poorest united states in the international.. and at that element that well-known of residing became seen poverty.. even then if loose markets have been opend around the board then the wealth of all the countries could start to even out. yet i could say that Poverty is on a extensive scale brought about by utilising some human beings making judgements that are benefical to them basically on a small scale while in comparison with how risky that comparable determination is to the human beings it impacts. those judgements are frequently made in government.. the place the fee of becoming a bad determination is extremly small. yet whether honestly everyone smartened up and made government smaller, poverty is likewise brought about by utilising laziness, and dependancy, or maybe severe greed. So there'll continually be wallet of poverty, because of the fact there'll continually be people who're lazy, addicts, or excessivly grasping. the only element that is finished is proscribing that behavor by utilising making it fee better than that is well worth. So whether or no longer that is conceivable I dare no longer say.. yet we are able to definatly get close.

When the pioneers fought for this country, they wanted everyone to suceed. There are some countries who have leaders who dont want ANYONE to suceed. Africa has amazing natural resources but the money is only controlled by a small group, the leadership. Why is the rest of the world expected to send funds over there when they have what they need - the government just doesnt allow people to NOT be poor.

LOL so what do you want us to do ? Send our table scraps ? One day those people are going to have to stand up for themselves just as we do . Yes some will be killed for doing so just as some died here for doing so and will again if they keep taking from us and they i mean big business . Im all for feeding the poorest of nations but not for sending them money but rather food when all the leaders do is hoard the money for themselves . The leaders are all living in big homes with servants at there command getting fat while the peasants starve is that fare . No . Let those people kill the fat leader then i say lets help

I am perfectly fine with starving people in other countries. I am not wealthy, i mean, my family gets by, but we can't buy luxurious cars, or fancy clothes, and i don't care.
what is important to me is that everyone has the opportunity to do what they wan't to. I don't want any of Bill Gates' money. he earned it it's his. he didn't cheat or steal or anything, so leave him alone.
and it isn't capitalism that is the problem, all of the countries with capitalism in place are far better off than countries with out. its the foreign governments fault, they take the resources from there people and don't give them a chance to better themselves.
don't blame capitalism or america for other countries problems, it's their own **** head governments that keep ******* over their own countries.

No I don't. And it's insulting to say that I use "immoral methods". It's called hard work!
Your bleeding heart spills enough for both of us.

an equitable distribution of resources which the human is absolutely incapable of doing.
Greed takes the front line and makes it impossible.
