get a larger harddrive, if you want more space now, i would delete most of the garbage on there, i would back everything up onto an external harddrive or a slave harddrive. You can also right click the drive and compress it.
But the D drive is normally your cd/dvd drive? Are you sure it is a harddrive?

On a lot of computers the D drive is a Recovery partition. So it will have very little extra space if any. Is the D drive labeled Recovery.? If it is Leave it alone, this is where your back up copy of Windows is stored...

is the D drive a physical drive or your CD/DVD drive?
If it's a CD/DVD drive then as a read only it will display as 0 space.
If it's an actual HDD then what space is actually free/used?

right click on the D icon then choose properties than disk clean up
it will help a lot if D is the place of your system
but u cant do anything else
u can delete an necessary files

open your disc cleaner and clean up your files,,this will help more than you know,then remove some of the programs or games you have that you dont use,this should help so much,
