ti-84 quadratic formula program manual entry?
I need a quadratic formula program that I can enter manually into my ti-84 that will give me the results as an exact value, can you help me with that?

This is the quadratic formula program I made on my calculator. It can handle complex roots, and gives exact results (meaning it displays 2/3 instead of .6666...).
Prgm:QUADFORM
:Prompt A,B,C
:a+bi
:B²-4AC
:Disp (-B+√(Ans))/2A►Frac
:Pause (-B+√(Ans))/2A►Frac
Not only is the program smaller and faster than the other one given, it can handle complex roots, and gives exact results (meaning it displays 2/3 instead of .6666...).
Some notes:
Prompt and Pause can be found under the [Prgm] menu (while editing the program).
a+bi changes the mode to Complex Mode, and can be found under the [Mode] menu.
►Frac is found under the [Math] menu.
Ans can be inputted by [2nd][(-)].
Sometimes the answer displayed will be irrational, and won't fit on the screen. You can use the left and right arrows to display the rest of the answer, so long as they are both the same (with only the +/- difference).

This is what I use:
Input "A: ",A
Input "B: ",B
Input "C: ",C
B/A -> B
C/A -> C
If ((B/2)^2-C)<0
Then
Disp "NO SOLUTION"
End
sqrt((B/2)^2-C)->D
-((B/2)+D)->A
-((B/2)-D)->B
Disp A
Disp B
You have to know how to enter in these symbols. many of them are in the menu that you get when you press the "prgm" button when you are typing out a program. Good luck.
