Nothing to make it produce more blood. It isn't the blood loss thats the problem it's the iron loss for women with heavy periods. Take iron supplements.

If you don't like tablets i think fish is a good source. Just look up foods that are high in iron.

Main concern for women with with heavy or prolonged periods is not loss of blood but loss of iron. Red meat is good for replacing iron but the body needs good level s of Vitamin C to be able to absorb Iron from food also. So as usual a good balanced diet is best recommended maybe with supplements if you have been noted to be low on iron etc

    My personal opinion only

Ummm I don't think there are foods that make your body produce more blood. If you're concerned about losing iron on your period, you can take an iron supplement from the drugstore or eat leafy greens like spinach.

Organ meats and some green vegetables increase RBC's.

    Liquids increase blood volume.

A normal period does not change the blood volume or composition.

  • Beets can help. But your blood cells have natural cell divisions called Mitosis. And the nucleus really controls that. Not foods.
