Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops vs. Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops Plus?

I know that the people who make Metal Gear Solid have a tendency to release their games a second time with a little more stuff on it, but is Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops and Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops Plus like that? Are they the same game? Does Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops Plus have more stuff on it? Thanks!

    Plus requires the original game to play......PLus includes more stuff like characters and a new gamemode.

    So, if you want that, you would have to buy the orginal and plus to get the extra content.
