i met this pretty girl at school in the library at the college we go to. we talked for a little while then i had to leave. i gave her my phone number before i had to leave. She was really smiling when i gave it to her. Do you think i should have gotten her number instead?

Nah, better to see how interested she really is...if she doesn't get back in touch then it wouldn't have made any difference if you had her number - you could have called her but it wouldn't make her any more interested. Leave it and see if she follows it up. If not, accept she wasn't looking to take it any further and move on.

you both shouldve exchanged numbers! im a girl and prefer guys being the ones to call me first unless its a guy im not interested ill say can i get your number? that way i dont have to turn him down and never have to call him!
