WOW updates question?
Right now Im downloading the 2.4.3 to 3.0.2 update and its taking way to long. It says no problems are detected. The update size is 2.6GB which is way to big. If I cancel the update will I be able to resume where I stopped the update at?
Is there anything that I can do to make it dowload faster?

I usually disable the 'peer' downloading feature, where it staggers the download among Blizzard's servers and other users. That way i only pull from the Blizz server which is usually the fastest.
And for me whenever I had a problem and closed down, the download started from where it left off. Although it started at 0%, it quickly filled up (a matter of seconds) to where I left.

Well, sorry, but everyone above is incorrect. If you download it to a certain point and close the installer down, the next time you go to re-download it it WILL go back to where you stopped...
This makes logical sense such that if you download something to your computer and cancel it, its not like it gets sucked back to blizzards website of your computer.
Hope this helps :P

Using the Blizzard downloader takes forever. You can download all the patches up to date from a few websites. Fileplanet and Filefront are both trustworthy sites, although there are a few others.
This is a link to a patch pack the has all the patches up to date and will download a lot faster than using the Blizzard downloader.

If you cancel, the update will start again at the beginning. I remember updating that myself, and it was a big file.
