Computer not letting me logon?

My computer does not let me logon. Whenever I enter my user password it starts logging me on and then all of a sudden logs me out. Afew days ago I had a virus some win32 on it and I couldn't remove it. Now please advise me on how I can log onto my computer or atleast how I can just wipe out the memory and reboot the system.

in safe mode F8 run malwarebytes anti-malware and SUPERAntispyware, and what they find you

delete it manually. then run ccleaner to clean your pc, and mvregclean, to clean registry.

what mvregclean find you remove because the key is there but not the file ,folder or program.

even you reformat and it finds anything remove dont be afraid.

dont forget when you install this software to update them, and do an update every day

then restore until before you get infected.

Press DEL or TAB or F8 you have to start from one of it.

If you can't get in safe mode neither than it usually mean you probably don't have much option but to restore the computer by installing the windows again.

There is one more thing you can try. Alot of antivirus program has a boot up disc in CD and you can boot your computer with that disc and see if there is any instructions on scanning your computer and clean up the virus from there.

    Good luck.

Reboot into safe mode then try entering the admin account. open control panel and clear the password for your account.

    that works in XP.

Vista requires either a password recovery disk which you created or you can use something like Hiren's boot cd which has many different password recovery tools in it.
