What are bios on my dell dimension 8400?
Ok, I have to replace my internal battery. It's 4 years old. I read on the internet that after replacing the battery you have to set the bios back up. What are bios? Is it easy to do?

Okay, if you are asking the question what is the BIOS perhaps you don't want to be messing with it.. It's not over complicated but it is somewhat advanced user material. When you boot, the first couple of seconds after you turn the computer on you will see a screen that says "press (some key) to access setup" pressing that key in time will access your BIOS. Once your are in there the most I would mess with is setting the BIOS time, not much else! Then exit and save. If your computer is booting properly then I wouldn't screw with it too much (unless you know what you are doing)
