I'm using Quickbooks for my small business.
Can I set it up to keep track of my personal finance as well, without mixing the info. with the business?

I would use the class tracking feature that is built into QuickBooks.
To turn it on, go to Preferences, Accounting, Company Preferences.
Select Use Class Tracking and Prompt to Assign Classes.
Create 2 classes - Business & Personal
Then you'll be able to run a Profit & Loss by Class.

Yip. Open a new (another) company called "Me". Just as simple on Excel.
Peace.
