how to choose best answer?

Wait for 4 hours after you submit the question and then go back to the question, you will have a blue tab under each answer, "Choose As Best Answer", click the tab on the answer you consider to be the best. Rate the answer 1-5 stars, add a comment if you wish, click submit. You have selected your best answer, you get 3 points back. You're done.

Very aggravating!!!!!!!!!! Yes, it happened to me a year ago with a former Yahoo ID. Question: "Which comes first: chicken or egg?" My Answer: "Chicken (alphabetical order!)" Another answerer used my identical answer after I submitted it. His was chosen Best Answer. Turned out to be a team of two persons who had a little game going where she would pose a question; he would answer; and no matter how inane (or insane) the answer, his would be chosen for the 10 points. An example -- she asked the question: "Who invented the 24 hour day?" He answered "Rolex owner", and she chose that as Best Answer.

After 4-5 hours, a button will appear under your question.

It should say "Choose as best answer".

CLick it if that's the best answer.

Four hours after you ask your question, if you go to your question, a little 'select as best answer' button appears by each answer. any time between then & when the question expires, click on the one you like best.

All levels can pick a best answer to questions they ask and can vote for best answer on others' undecided questions.

after 4 hours go on your profile under your questions, and it will say click best answer. you can wait 4 days and have other users vote for best answer, or just click the little pencil a few tabs down, hope this helped

Click "VOTE" on any Category. Pick a question, click on the question to open it. Select the answer you think is best. Click on "Vote as Best Answer". You have gained 1 point.
