are these sentences correct? (3 sentences)?
I read these examples on internet, but i'm not sure if they're correct. Are the "adjective phrases (the ones capitalized) correct?
a) NOISY AS A HERD OF STAMPEDING RHINOS, the students ran out of the classroom the moment the bell rang, EAGER TO ESCAPE THE HELL OF THEIR GRAMMAR LESSON.
b) He spent two years in Capuchino, CONVICTED OF A CRIME HE DIDN'T COMMIT.
c) My sister finally quit her job, DISCOURAGED by the long hours and low pay
The last one seems less effective than this one.
c) My sister, discouraged by the long hours and low pay, finally quit her job
Thanks in advance! :D

1. Yes
2. Yes.
3. Yes.
4. This is right too but it changes the focus. The first one makes the quitting the job more important. The second one makes your sister and the long hours more important. But they're both grammatically correct and mean the same.

They are all correct and I don't think the last sentence is any less effective than the second to last. They are both well-written. Good luck!

I think the first one should be "AS noisy as a ....etc."
The last one should have a period.
