She's constantly cold. but her forehead is really really really really REALLY HOT. It stopped for a few minutes... like half an hour. and she was neither hot or cold... her forehead was really cold though. Now, it's back to being really hot, and she's really cold. i have her wrapped in like 5 big blankets, heater is on, she's taking tylenol every 6 hours, oh and shes drinking only hot liquids. hot chocolate, tea etc.
I don't know whats wrong with her. but we don't have a thermoniter to see how hot or cold she is. and we can't go out and buy one, my parents left this morning for a presentation in San Fransico. So it's just me, my brother, and sister. they wont be back until thursday. my brother is 15 and my sister is 16, im 12.
its not like im panicking, but i do want to know whats wrong with her. because I need her to be well. so does anyone know what she has, like her sickness? and how to treat it? any help is great! please! thank you.

give two tylenol every four hours, If y ou have any advil or ibuprofen, alternate it with the tylenol every two hours whether she is hot or cold for the next 24 hours. If the fever does not come down, help her to take a WARM bath and do not wet her hair. Part of the reason she is getting hot and then cold is all the blankets, It is an old wives tale to cover excessively when running a temp. All you are doing is keeping the heat IN. Have her put on some sweats or PJ's and socks and cover with a light blanket and a sheet. Keep the house warm, but not hot. No hot liquids, causes the same effect as to many blankets. The fever is making her chill, and by keeping the heat in, she just spikes higher and chills more. Maby some warm soup, but stop with all the hot drinks.
Tylenol every four hours, (not more than 4000mg in 24 hours of tylenol) alternate with ibuprofen every two if you have it. Warm bath or shower, sweats, socks sheet and light blanket. Cool liquids to bring the fever down, not hot. Do not have the house too hot.

Your sister sickness is due to infection on her chest due to cold and thus suffering from fever. Take quarter tea spoon black pepper powder, pinch of cinnamon powder, quarter tea spoon ginger powder and boil them in a glass of water until remains half glass and give your sister to drink this concoction thrice a day until she gets rid of cold. Also, give one table spoon honey thrice a day to your sister to give soothing effect on her lungs.
Wipe her forehead and entire body with a wet towel to reduce the body temperature. Keep a wet towel on her forehead several times repeatedly to bring the temperature down.
In case of emergency, please consult your family doctor.
Take care and God bless you and your sister!
