should we trust the main stream media,or seek other resources to gain our own well informed conclusions ?

I read the following from Don S. <vigilspalidin@surf gate.Net> :

"OBAMARAMA complains that BUSH spent too much

money and cut taxes, so OBAMARAMA is going to

INCREASE SPENDING and INCREASE TAXES to

"fix it".And the liberal news media is perfectly happy

with this.

MSM have devolved into political correctness and are actually almost useless now as a source of information, especially on domestic issues. Their demise has been inevitable for some time now, and I believe one of the most obvious reasons is that they are increasingly perceived as more of a social engineering tool than a believable presenter of hard news. When they gave such an absolute overkill of the fake "Duke rape case" and at the very same time completely ignored a horrifying hate crime taking place in Knoxville Tn (Christian/Newsom torture murders) only a couple of hours away, I and many others began taking a much more critical look at what their motives are and wondering how many other such hard issues they're avoiding. I no longer consider them a credible source of information, and apparently neither do millions of others.

You should trust the main stream media because news stories are the the reporting of basic facts that can not be disputed but can be documented to have occurred by sources on the scene, often eyewitnesses. The basics of a story such as the who, what, when and where can not be disputed. When a person is quoted that person is giving his opinion, which a reader is free to disagree with. Often when a person doesn't like a story they should not get mad at the news media because the media is merely the messenger. Some stories are painful to report as well as to read but it is the reader's right to know.

Really, your best bet is to go through multiple articles (one of them BBC, because they're a 3rd party reporting on the US, so it should be less biased than what we get over here)

Forget the MSM...they mostly are jaded to the extreme left and have forgotten what journalism is, hit the internet and provide your own conclusions.

ps...that goes for global warming also................all they want is to control your mind and your life.............they suck
