***Anyone know a treatment to remove the haze from plexiglass factory headlights?***?
I have a 2002 VW Cabrio, one headlight was previously replaced after damage. The older one is getting hazy (i.e.no water inside, but environmental/acid rain damage you can feel on the outside) & looks bad. Is there anything I can do to remove this, short of replacing the whole unit?

3M makes a stellar rubbing compound called "3M Perfect-It" Buy you a bottle of this and get your hands on a LOW speed orbital buffer. Make sure you use a low speed one as you can actually "burn" the plastic, forcing you to replace it anyways. Make sure you mask off your surrounding paint job and try to only buff the headlight. It is a VERY FINE rubbing compound and works great on this, as well as minor scratches in paint, to polishing brass and a lot more. Here is a link so you can see it. I buy mine from O'Reillys and AutoZone. Good luck

Message to the different answerers: Why Chicago get one of those large form of thumbs down, he became the consumer Donovan T. He became a large consumer, and message to the questioner: you may besides in basic terms go away him on my own. He left because he did not favor to be an element of this section anymore (no offense) and giving his account lower back might want to be ineffective, effective he will have his account lower back yet theres no danger that hes coming lower back anytime quickly.
