Can anybody give me a reference from the Quran or similar to show that Islam is against homosexuality?

I don't need a quotation, just a reference to go with the statement that Islam shares a general negative view on homosexuality or at least 'homosexual acts' with Christianity. I've already got the equivalent references to passegesin the Bible, so I need page number, title, edition etc of some kind of Muslim text.

"We also (sent) Lut: He said to his people: "Do ye commit lewdness such as no people in creation (ever) committed before you?" (The Noble Quran, 7:80)

"For ye practise your lusts on men in preference to women: Ye are indeed a people transgressing beyond bounds." (The Noble Quran, 7:81)

"(We also sent) Lut (as an apostle): behold, He said to his people, "Do ye do what is shameful though ye see (its iniquity)?" (The Noble Quran, 27:54)

"Would ye really approach men in your lusts rather than women? Nay, ye are a people (grossly) ignorant!" (The Noble Quran, 27:55)

"If two men among you are guilty of lewdness, punish them both. If they repent and amend, Leave them alone; for God is Oft-returning, Most Merciful." (The Noble Quran, 4:16)

this is a court Case. most people misunderstand the court system. The judge is impartial. there is No fair only impartial it is up to each party in front of the judge to present a case that supports their position. the judge makes sure that no one abuses the Law. The jury most of the time is instructed to follow guide lines in the law to make a decision. the Fault is the side that was prosecuting did not present sufficient evidence to fit under the instructions given the jury. for instance the Height of the perpetrator compared to the victim Back ground information on the victim that would show that it is not his nature to be violent. if you want to do something about this then write an article for the local paper in that town chastise the prosecution for a sloppy job.

I dont remember the exact page number but their is a hadeeth that talks about a prophet that went to a town which had many homosexuals, gay and lesbians. Allah(god) told him to go and preech to them to stop. They didnt listen and an angel took its wing and flipped the entire city over. There is a city in the middle east or something where the sedements of soil and clay are up side down.

    hope that helps

Homosexual acts are condemned as unnatural. (Will ye commit abomination such as no creature ever did before you?) 7:80-81

Male homosexual activities are condemned as unnatural. 26:165-6

Male homosexuals commit abominations and act senselessly. 27:54-55

Male homosexuals acts are condemned as unnatural. 29:28-29

from the skeptics annotated bible (koran section). And then there's Achmadinejead (spelling ?) saying that there are no homosexuals in Iran, either b/c he's in denial or b/c he's had them all stoned to death.

I think you have got the answers as listed before me.

But I just want to add a point. You must remember that even people who are born straight, or married, must always safeguard themselves from the evil of desires. What I'm trying to say is that every human must on be guard from this evil, whether they are straight or 'abnormal'. So, you must not envy those who are 'lucky' enough to be straight. In fact they are not lucky, but everly on guard.

There used to be some video on Ogrish of 'convicted' homosexuals being stoned to death. Proof of the pudding.

And to Lot We gave judgement and knowledge, and We saved him from the city that was committing wicked deeds. Indeed, they were a people of evil, defiantly disobedient.
