Is there anyone here that can put down their hostility for a few?

There are a few and I mean Damn few on the other side that I can enjoy a debate with. We need mutual respect and an understanding that we want what is best for this country,but, disagree on the means to get there. And yes I am being honest.

Yes, one of the things I like about YA is that it makes me think. You can see another viewpoint which you would most likely not see anywhere else. And there is a creativity here that is unmatched. Even if I disagree with the statement, I have to laugh sometimes at the imagination.

We would never learn anything if we only talk to people we agree with.

I have no hostility to put down. I am not sure what the rest of your question means but would love for this to be a place of clarity & real learning.

Well if you do, you get reported. I am not sure why YA has this format, it is more like a bunch of people getting together to all yell the answer and no one being heard

i am all for a honest debate. just to many others aren't. If you want IM then we could have a debate

I certainly only ask real questions, and hope for real responses, but normally I just get the subject changed to something general and negative about liberals or Obama... it's certainly amazing the lack of intellectual flair around here

In these trying times, thats all people can seem to do is express their hostility, it's one of the stages of denial.

This forum isn't designed for debate. If you try, someone reports you for chatting. It's a major flaw in what might have been a good idea.

Its very hard to do,Only because as a conservative I argue with facts.Not speculation,not emotion,not socialistic values,but with cold hard truth and facts.Since police usually use the same thing,facts and truth,you could see why people give me thumbs down,report me,and insult me for speaking the truth.

people like to avoid questions they dont have answers to so they change subject to best suit their opinion
