Is there any file hosting site where i can upload files in a personal locker and download them back later?
I have a lot of 300 mb movies i would like to keep but because of less space i am unable to store them. If i could upload them somewhere and download them later it would be helpful.

Hello,
Although you may not want to pay for website hosting simply for files, it is important to look at the total package that comes with paying a host. A great host should have 99% Network uptime, fast and reliable hardware, and 24X7 customer service availability. You should be able to call the Host 24 hours a day and speak to someone that can help.
No matter who you are, you will want great customer service. I would look into HostMySite.com. They offer a 30 day money back guarantee. This way you are not tied down and still are free to go else where.
They offer a plan that includes 20gb for storage for 11.99 a month. This doesn't have the file size limitations that free media servers like medaifire.com do.
Good Luck.

Unfortunately in the U.S. they are making it illegal for all persons involved in the illegal distribution of file's , this includes the hosting site, the poster of the material and the end user. The main reason why host-sites still exist is because they are out of U.S. jurisdiction, even in countries that have signed agreements with copyright holders do not always enforce those agreements. Even though these sites are outside of the U.S. they still have the availability of pursuing litigation against the end user. In the 70's when I was a kid anybody who had an 8 track player/recorder had copies of somebody else's album then into the 80's it was cassette's. We couldn't always afford to buy the newest record from Ted Nugent as you always ended up at somebodies house who had a record and you made a copy of it. Eventually when you had enough to buy your own album then people came over to you house to get a copy. So that by the end of the school year in a big city their would be well over 500 copies of an album unpaid for , so copying music is nothing new.

Though most free services do provide a lot of space for uploading they do have limits on file size. You might either have to split you huge files and then upload or choose a paid service to upload the files as is.

you have mediafire.com which limits the one time upload size for 100 mb for a free user
also some other options are rapidshare and megaupload
If you have hotmail account , you can use skydrive which has a capacity of 25 gb but files of 50 mb can loaded at a time
If you want better option wait for google's g-drive
