The Tampa bay buccaneers?

They have picked up Kellen Winslow, Derrick Ward, Kelly Campbell, and they could end up with some other great players in the draft for offense.. Possibly Darius Hayward-Bay , Peircy Harvin Or Kansas state quarterback Josh Freeman.. How will the bucs offense be this year? What will their defense be ranked and will they be a good unit together? And which of those three guys Hayward Harvin or Freeman would be the best pick for tampa in the first round? How will Derrick Ward play behind the talented Bucs offensive line possibly his 2 and 2nd strait 1000 yard year. How many catches does winslow get this season and how many yards? Please no bad mouthing or anything like that just looking to see what people think about these questions....

I don't think they will be good anytime soon. Too many question marks. Right now they don't have a quarterback, and even if they draft one, its unlikely that he would have the same kind of season Matt Ryan did, which was rare. Add to the fact that their are people out there that think that their is no franchise quarterback in this year's draft.

They have too much money invested at the running back position: Williams, Graham, and now Ward. That's paying a lot of money for guys to just split time. Can Winslow stay healthy? Most likely not. They got rid of their best defensive player on a defense that couldn't stop the run once Morris took over the defensive play calls.

Ultimately they have too many guys at the top who don't know what they are doing, which means a long couple of years for Tampa.

I thought getting Kellen Winslow was a great move and i thought derrick ward was an even better one...i think they will get DARRIUS HEYWARD-BEY! who was an absolute stud at the combine and can be groomed into one of the best receivers in the league...with a mentor like Joey Galloway why not? I think the buccaneers will have a really good offense with the depth at running back they have and the depth at receiver..the only question is who is the quarterback i think the buccs will answer that as well in the next few weeks also (maybe they jump into the Cutler trade talks or if the browns decide to get rid of Derek Anderson or Brady Quinn the buccs would be right there to pick up one of those young QBs)...Derrick ward will play extremely well behind that underrated and extremely talented O-line...I predict another 1000 yard season for Derrick Ward...I will Say around 35 receptions for close to 400 yards for Winslow....remember he will spend a lot of time on the field with Alex Smith another good tight end..and the defense will be ranked around 8th in the league in total defense (top 10 for sure in my mind)

Great moves lately by the Bucs. Especially the Ward signing, and barely giving up anything for a talented (but problematic) tight end in Winslow. To me, that's a very competitive division these days, with the rising of Atlanta, the balance of Carolina, and the offensive power of New Orleans. However, the good news is, I think Tampa Bay is on the way up. I think Derrick Ward definitely surpasses 1,000 yards no problem. I also think *IF* (a big one at that..) is quite possibly Cadillac Williams can contribute, and Earnest Graham (look familiar to Ward, a 3 RB backfield, this time he leads it.) with their always stoudt defense. I don't think their QB issues are a major concern (yes, they still have a QB issue.) I see a possible wild-card, maybe even tight divisional race. Percy Harvin would be perfect for their situation, as I don't see them taking a QB this draft.

Obviously, Brian Griese is not the guy you want at the helm, and whether it's McCown has always remained to be seen. I do expect a LOT of running from this team, and their usual beastly defense (even without the veterans and Kiffin leading them.)

First i think they have improved on the offense side of the ball. Kellen Winslow is going to be a good fit for them.....if he can stay healthy. They need a big play reciever now, Galloway was their go to guy, but now that he's gone, its a toss up. Clayton need to prove he is worthy or that contract. He hasnt been good for a couple of seasons now. Second i dont agree with the Derrick Brooks release. He can still play the game. In my opinion they last ranking on the defense side. Plus Defensive Guru Monte Kiffin is gone!!! Im not sure either of those guys is a good pick, Freeman is big but thats about it. Harvin, im not convinced he'll be a good wide-out, he's fast but he needs alot of work. They need to upgrade the defense. I would like to see them get Big Rey Mauluaga or Cushing. I think Ward is gonna do fine, that O-line is young and good, they need a back that can produce, i like Cadillac Williams but he hasnt been healthy for awhile, its time to cut your loses. Well i do hope they can pull out more wins then last year. So GO BUCCS

i think the bucs will be much better .. if winslow can stay healthy i definitely think he can be a pro-bowler i say he gets about 70 catches maybe about 600-650 yards.. and ward .. its hard to say with him .. i was never that impressed with his play when jacobs was hurt when he had to be the primary back but hes talented and can definitely be a solid player .. i think he'll get 1000 yards this year.. and as far as the draft goes .. i think they should go WR .. peircy harvin would be a really nice pick up.. im a big gators fan so i think TB would be a nice place for him to play

I'd like to see them pick up Harvin...keep the Florida boy close to home. I'm disappointed they got Winslow; his mouth keeps him in trouble and he hasn't stayed healthy enough to be a factor for the Browns since he was drafted. I think TB should try and put him back on the market and try to get something for him before he injures himself again and ruins what's left of his career.

I hope they show up with a decent quarterback. no more past-their-prime's or no-hit wonders.(I am STILL bitter about benching Shaun King)

  • They are building a strong team that's for sure... Just imagine if they get Cutler?
